Sailing from Playa Del Carmen MX With a humble start as a small fishing town in front of Cozumel Island, Playa Del Carmen has really become a hot vacation and sailing spot in the Caribbean. Much of Playa Del Carmen's success is probably due to Cancun which brings in more and more visitors and drunk teens each year!  With better beaches than Cozumel and a absolutely charming night-life, Playa Del Carmen MX is just plain fun, but did we mention it's a terrific diving stop too!  We all know diving and sailing go hand in hand, and in this respect, Playa Del Carmen really shines. As most Caribbean destinations, people living in Playa del Carmen live a liberal and very relaxed lifestyle; this care-free life exteneds to its beaches and it is not unusual to encounter numerous people enjoying the sunny beaches topless. In fact, just a kilometer to the north of the main beach resides a nude beach (optional of course!). Whether you want to rest, sunbath (nude or otherwise), go diving, or just read a book, Playa del Carmen is a great Caribbean destination! And when the sun sets, the nightlife is fantastic, especially on 5th Avenue during `Happy Hour`!
